Elena is a wonderful guide. She brought the history of Athens and the Acropolis to life with her engaging and detailed storytelling — including ancient myths and important landmarks. The 3.5 hours passed by in what felt like minutes.
She’s a really pleasant and interesting person, and it was easy and enjoyable to talk with her. Thanks to this experience, I now really want to come back to Athens again.

My husband and I along with our three boys ages 10, 12 and 14 spent a week in Athens. We were told Acropolis is an absolute must. I cannot disagree, it was fantastic. We hired Elena as our guide and I cannot recommend her enough.
We left after a few hours with our jaws dropping and our brains on complete overload and couldn’t ever have imagined learning what we did. It was amazing and the experience felt alive. Elena made what we were looking at feel so real and in the moment. She brought photos of what the hill would have looked like over the years. Fascinating! She even used headsets to talk to us which was genius. I could hear her from several feet away. As we did get separated by the crowd at points when coming down the hill. It was great and I heard every word.
Please do yourself a favour and hire her if you truly want to appreciate what you are looking at. You can go ahead and do it on your own, but I guarantee your experience will be very different.
Elena, you made our experience magical and we will never forget it. We will be back to Athens.
